Tom Cruise – weirdly, I used to see him a lot. His people would call the theatre in advance during matinees to warn me Mr. Cruise was coming, to see if there would be a security problem. Then he and Nichole Kidman and 5 or so others would show up. They'd all go hide in the theatre and Tom would wait in the concession line to buy popcorn, chatting with excited moviegoers and signing autographs. One of the most surprisingly nice people I've ever seen.
